Steven Knowles

I qualified from Portsmouth University with a BA Hons Environmental Design Degree and after moving to London in 1999 enjoyed successful shows as a painter, and curator.
My career continued with directorships in galleries in Hoxton, Camberwell and Brixton. The experience of producing fantastic original art displays gave me the opportunity to develop some intriguing, fascinating and lifelong relationships.
In recent years I’ve dedicated more time to revisiting other media including sculpture, pottery, photography and film alongside developing and delivering community art projects for charities and organisations.
I am really looking forward to delivering some fabulous art projects and working with the communities in the Borough.
