Kent Libraries, Sir Peter Blake Gallery and Dartford Arts Network are supporting the ‘Summer Reading Challenge- Marvellous Makers’ with a series of art events over the summer. The events will culminate in an exhibition of children’s artwork in September at the Sir Peter Blake Gallery at Dartford Library.

Our first event will be this coming weekend, where we will be running some ‘marvellous makers workshops’ at Dartford’s Big Day Out, Saturday 13th July between 11am and 3pm in Central Park. 

Find us in the big marquee to register your child’s place – materials will be provided, but be quick as numbers will be limited…

• Don’t worry if you can’t get along to the events, as you can still participate by dropping you children’s artwork to the library reception on or before 10^th August.
• Inspired artworks should be no larger than A4, and be able to be framed. Your contact details, title of work, name of child (and age) should be clearly marked on the rear of the work.
